Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series driver and Novato resident Memo Gidley will visit San Francisco's North Beach with two Playboy Playmates in advance of the Sonoma 250, which will be contested at Infineon Raceway, Aug. 25-26. This event will serve as a stop for "Ta-Ta Tuesdays" with 107.7 The Bone FM and a fundraiser for the Breast Cancer Fund. Race fans won't want to miss the unique opportunity to meet Gidley and the Playmates, and help a worthy cause!

Be sure to tune in to Lamont & Tonelli on 107.7 FM from 7-8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 22 to hear Gidley and the Playmates live in the studio!

Who:
Memo Gidley: Novato's Gidley, driver of the No. 19 Playboy/Uniden Daytona Prototype entry, has earned a best finish of second (Barber Motorsports Park, Ala.) so far this season and is currently ranked fifth in team points with co-driver Michael McDowell.

Playmates:
Allison Waite (Miss May 2006) and Monica Lee (Miss March 2006), both contenders for 2006 Playmate of the Year, will be available for interviews and photo opportunities.

Why:
The Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma will mark the debut of the Grand-Am Series at Infineon Raceway. They will run the Sonoma 250 on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 3 p.m. (Pacific), topped by the Daytona Prototype class, which features exotic racecars that reach top speeds of 185 mph. The GT class makes up the other half of the Rolex Series lineup and features race-prepared versions of today's popular high-performance sports cars and coupes such as the BMW M3, Porsche GT3 and the Pontiac GTO. Expect more than 40 entries on the track between the GT and Daytona Prototype classes.
