NASCAR Fan Paul Henderson Wins Honda Power-To-Go Contest
As the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season winds down, one fan is already getting geared up for 2014. Sonoma's Paul Henderson was recently selected as the winner of Sonoma Raceway's Honda Power-To-Go Contest.
Henderson, a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, entered the Honda Power-To-Go Contest at Sonoma Raceway during the 25th NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Toyota/Save Mart 350 race weekend in June and his name was randomly selected as the contest winner.
As the grand prize winner, Henderson will receive a weekend trackside camping spot for the 2014 Toyota/Save Mart 350, four weekend tickets, four Pre-Race Pit and Track Passes and  a brand-new Honda EU2000i generator. The Honda EU2000i Companion Generator is super quiet, easy to carry, and fuel efficient, making it ideal for TVs, small appliances and more.
"We're going to rent a big RV and have a big party next June," said Henderson, "I have always recommended to my friends to come out to the NASCAR race, as you can't get the experience on TV. It's going to be a fun day for the whole family."
A self proclaimed Jeff Gordon fan, Henderson's first NASCAR race in Sonoma coincided with Gordon's fifth Sonoma victory in 2006. Henderson plans to share the Honda generator with his stepson, who is starting up a race team.
